Use a black candle when you are ready to release something that no longer belongs in your life. Write what you are releasing on paper, then place the paper safely beside the candle.

Peaceful Home Candle
Light a white or blue candle in a safe central area of your home.
Say:

Intuition Candle
Light a purple or silver candle before meditation, tarot, journaling, or other divination practices.
Ask one clear question, then sit quietly with the flame for several minutes before beginning your practice. Rather than forcing an answer, notice the thoughts and feelings that naturally arise.
HOW TO WORK WITH CANDLE MAGICK
Choose your intention first and your candle color second. You may keep the ritual simple or pair your candle with crystals, herbs, written intentions, meditation, prayer, or other traditions meaningful to you.
The candle itself does not have to be elaborate. Your intention and the meaning you give the ritual are the heart of the practice.
Always place candles on a stable, heat-resistant surface, keep them away from children, pets, fabrics, herbs, and other flammable materials, and never leave a burning candle unattended.
